All young boys and girls love trains. Whether it's Thomas the Train or The Little Engine that Could, children are excited by trains. A toddler train party is not only easy to plan, It's fun too! There are plenty of party favors and decorations in the marketplace so you'll have no problem finding everything you need. The kids will have a blast.
Finding the perfect cake will be easy. You'll find all kinds of cake forms and themes that are ideal for train cakes and parties. Whether you go with The Polar Express as a theme, or even the old fashioned steam engine, you'll easily find what you need. After the cake and ice cream head outdoors to take a wack at the pinata. You can find pinatas at party supply shops AND find all the goodies to fill them. Of course the same party supply shops should carry train theme plates, goody bag fillers and all the other train items you need,.
When you're planning your goody bags, you'll be glad you've chosen this theme. Train goody bags are easy to fill. Puzzles, Whistles, story books, stickers and coloring books all go well in goody bags. Sending goody bags home with your guests is a great way to thank them for coming to your party.
If you want to do something really different, see if there's a local train museum or depot that can host your party. This makes a very special day and gives the kids a unique set of memories. Some cities have trains that take short day trips. If you'd like to do an actual train ride party, you might want to go with "The Great Escape" theme. Of course this theme will work for older children too. Just keep in mind that you're doing all this again next year and this party is going to be hard to beat.
